The  Board  of  Christian  Outreach  is  responsible  for providing  and maintaining  effective  programs of outreach  of  the Church, and  is concerned  with  providing  for  the  Church's mission to the  individual members of the Church family, the community, and to the world.    The board fulfills these duties by keeping generally informed on individual needs of the Church family, as well as on moral and social issues or practices of concern to the Christian Church.   Additional  functions  include  developing  programs  and    courses of action   believed   reasonable  and   necessary   to  fulfill  the  Church's obligation with respect to missionary and benevolent concerns.
