We are pleased to introduce you to a very special ministry that supports the needs of many people in South Africa.
Lydia's House Stoles is part of an income-generating project of the United Church of Christ South Africa (UCCSA) Central Region. The main objective of this project is to address the lack of financial resources needed to make an impact on the social injustices that continue to cripple our South African communities. The project also creates jobs for many persons who have been either "infected" or "affected" by the aids pandemic. 100% of the proceeds from sale of the stoles goes to fund the region's outreach programs and projects. The development office has made the following areas a priority, HIV/AIDS work and educational initiatives. Your support of the Lydia's House Project can greatly enhance the ability of the Central Region to carry out the mandate of Jesus Christ -- to bring healing and empowerment to a suffering world.
