Confronting Controversies – Sep 18-Oct 16

Join us as we embark on a five-week, video-based study based on the book titled Confronting the Controversies: Biblical Perspectives on Tough Issues by Adam Hamilton. Throughout the book the author examines some of life’s most challenging, and often controversial topics, including evolution, euthanasia, the death penalty, abortion, and homosexuality. The purpose of this study is to help people begin to explore and work through these issues using both biblical teaching and theological thinking. The study series will also help participants learn how to discuss these subjects by looking at them from various, and often conflicting, viewpoints, and we will explore how the Christian faith relates to these issues in today’s society. This study will be facilitated by Pastor Sharon. Please join us on Wednesday evenings starting September 18th through October 16th at 7:00 p.m. in the Memorial Room.
