Music
Here at FCCL, music is a vital part of our spiritual journey. We believe that music in all its forms s a form of active, individual, and communal prayer. Because music is so integral to experiencing God's movement in our worship and our lives, we strive to integrate it throughout our services. Sunday morning rehearsals go beyond simple practice; they are a time of fellowship where we encourage one another and affirm that God's voice moves through each person's unique gifts.
Worship
We believe that the God who spoke to our ancestors is a Still Speaking God, and that God's voice continues to be eard through each one of us. This belief is the foundation of our community at the First Congregational Church of Lebanon (FCCL). We cultivate this connection to God through prayer and intergenerational worship, both individually and together as a community. Our Sunday 10:00 AM worship service is a time where we gather, either in person or live streamed on our YouTube channel, to find hope in God's word and be inspired to help build the Kingdom of God in our world, here and now.
Bible Study
Through a topical approach, FCCL's Bible study expands and deepens our faith by wrestling with how scripture addresses the issues of our time. We explore how these texts have shaped our past, inform our present, and might guide us into the future.
Children and Youth Ministry
We hold fast to the belief that God's Still Speaking Voice can be heard in everyone, of every age. Our ministries for children and youth are designed to meet them where they are with diverse and engaging faith formation experiences. At the same time, we ensure they are a vital part of our wider community through intergenerational worship, fellowship, and mission work.
Hospitality
The Hospitality Committee's mission is to warmly care for and nourish all who enter our doors. We create a welcoming environment by providing simple refreshments, from coffee and treats after worship services to food and drinks during celebrations of life. We aim to offer a sense of comfort and community, so everyone feels spiritually and physically refreshed.
